AzPipe club meeting Saturday the 13th, Pipe night Wednesday the 24th.Greetings fellow pipe smokers! As time marches on in the month of March we are looking at the first day of Spring which takes place on the 20th, and St. Patrick's day on the 17th. You can buy a bar of Irish Spring soap to lather up and celebrate the month, or you can join us as spring signals the promise of a new beginning in the crazy world we live in, and an opportunity to smoke your Peterson Pipes that are synonymous with great craftsmanship from the emerald isle. As the title says, we will meet on Saturday the 13th at 1 PM for the Pipe Club meeting. On Wednesday the 24th, we will meet for Pipe night, starting at 5 PM or thereabouts. We hope to see you there!

Yesterday we had a good time at the pipe club, and although there was only 11? or so, we outnumbered the cigar smokers by a wide margin. Although yesterday was a chilly day, I think a lot of people are about enjoying the weather before the furnace pilot light is lit for the desert. Joe Fabian, Western territory sales manager for Laudisi lives near us, so it isn't uncommon for him to drop in on an unofficial visit, and smoke some bowls with us. Always a fount of wisdom in all things related to the hobby, and he has information about the industry that otherwise would not be know online. That is him on the right. John barely pictured on the right has been making pens, and he has excelled at his hobby. Beautiful pieces ranging from $25 to $65, I picked a beauty up for the wife. I could go on and on about Big Sticks, always comfortable, with a great air handling system, spotless restrooms, and an attentive staff that knows how to treat and serve the customer. Having done the work, the club, collectively supporting Big Sticks has brought us to the point that we are seeing blends made available to us that disappear quickly online. We have some G&H blends earmarked for us, this week we were all able to pick up some of THE BEAST that I was unaware was even being released. The last time I saw it released it was gone lightning fast online,, and appears to be sold out everywhere now. Only 2500 tins were made....
