Is there a place to find such information? I've googled trying to find examples of Dunhill boxes from various decades, and there is no consistency.
I am primarily looking for examples of boxes from the 1950's, but wouldn't mind educating myself on anything from the 1960's and earlier.

Good luck. If you do find something, please post it here. I'd be interested as well. Dunhill history websites certainly focus on the pipes and the lighters. I don't think I've ever seen a discussion on the boxes.

Okay, thanks. What I'll do is collect images of boxes, attempt to order them by age, then ask if anyone can assign dates or date ranges to each box. There are probably a few people who have gotten dateable pipes that came with boxes.

I think The Royal Warrant is the clue. George VI or the Late King. I think QE2 granted Dunhill her Warrant sometime in the 60’s.  |
