Bald Headed Teacher in my Benton. Another cup of coffee on the side. How do you like B.H.T., Ted? It's an old favorite with me, the only 4-noggins blend I've tried , but it's a dilly! I absolutely love this blend Herbert! For a Burley blend it doesn’t overpower the Virginia but compliments it very nicely. Every puff you get either the nutty molasses or sweet lemon grass from the two major components. Heck, I’m a fan sir!

Gates of Light in a rusticated Dublin from Mastro'de'paja, Crystal Lite peach tea on the side. Gates of Light sounds like an interesting blend. Are the oriental tobaccos very noticeable?

It would be noticeable if they disappeared . By that I mean the tobaccos are that balanced, perhaps the Orientals work to give the latakia it creaminess. There's an earthy sweetness here too, but mine is from 2007, so time may have blessed it a tad.

Had some 10-year old Sutliff Maple Street in a MM Diplomat. Did really care for the Maple Street. Got some maple initially, and then just a biting sensation thereafter. Meant to say I did not care for the Maple Street.

Cornell & Diehl Vixen Flake, from the Wintertime Reserve Series in a sandblasted Peterson Dracula straight Pot. Got the tobacco in a SP promotion. You got to choose one of eight tobaccos, named after Santa's reindeer when you bought a Peterson pipe (nice how they kept it all in the family). Burley, Red Virginia and Perique; cased in molasses. I really like this blend, too bad they never offered it for sale.
