April 17th More montford point marine in various pipes. I swear the last bowl was a taste trip to bootcamp. Slight hint of old aftershave, musty footlocker, and leather. All surrounded by a dark slightly sweet core. Quite potent yet somewhat civilized. Boot camp? Wow... that was 30+ years ago for me. Yes, that is a trip down memory lane! |

Smoking spill tray leavings this morning, mostly Lancers, with bits of red Virginia. The pipe is a Ben Wade Reflection, and the coffee is fresh and hot. Yard work is in my near future ,but it'll take at least two more coffees to get me started.

Took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to the office. Normally I don’t go in on Saturday’s but decided, heck why not? Too bad everyone else had the same idea. The pace reminded me of Friday afternoon rush hour traffic, on the I-5, between Seattle and Tacoma. Started off with Hobbits Weed in a Vuen and finished with St. James Flake. Didn’t quite make 18 holes as 15 was enough for this old soldier.

Started the day on the back porch with coffee and Haunted Bookshop in a cob. Between naps, I smoked more Haunted Bookshop and Three Friars in cobs. Now, I've got some GLP Cumberland going in a MM 5th Ave Washington cob.
