I have been a pipe smoker for more than 45 years and still own my first pipe, a LaStrada Aria, although I did have to replace the stem I gnawed through a few years ago. Got it because it was inexpensive — I was a college student after all — and it remains perhaps the best I’ve ever smoked. I smoked Carter Hall for most of those years, although I’ve recently fallen in love with Peterson’s, formerly Dunhill’s, My Mixture 965. Always say I like my beer to taste like beer, my coffee to taste like coffee, and my tobacco to taste like tobacco. I own about 30 pipes, a couple Dunhills, which I find overrated, a few Barlings, which I like a lot, and various Comoys, Chacoms and GBDs. Look forward to the discussions and thanks for having me.
45 years/ we should call you old Smokey! Thanks for joining the forum, with your long history of pipe smoking, I am looking forward to hearing your opinions on the hobby.

greets/welcome from a really OLD timer from 50miles East of Buffalo, NY. The only one here from that area. Settled in on heavy latakia blends around 15years ago after going thru everything else in my long journey starting in 1962. Sure you'll find many helpful members here if you need any questions answered
