Watch City 558 Flake in a Mark Tinsky. Damp afternoon here, but pleasant enough to sit on the deck and smoke....

8 year old MacBaren Scottish mixture. Aging MacBaren really tames the MacBite that it often produces when it is fresh.

My SIL got my recipe awhile back for my “Old Dad” blend and made some up. He sent me some, so I’m having a bowl of that in my JM Boswell bent freehand on the back patio.

Chocolate Mousse in a Lorenzetti Nero 23.
The wife loves the chocolate smell, but the chocolate taste isn't always there.

This evening I am enjoying a bowl of esoterica and so to bed.
Weather says it's 90. Feels like high 70's to me. I guess I've lived here too long

GLP Pennyfarthing in a MM Legend with a can of Kroger's finest ginger ale. I'm not crazy about the Pennyfarthing. Sure, you need to use a funny word to spell it, but it doesn't ring my boat.

Greetings all.
A beautiful day here in Pinehurst today. After church with Blondie we got home and hopped on the Harley. Rode over to Kickback Jacks , had a lite lunch and then rode up to the Harley dealership, a gathering place for bike riders on the weekend. Had a cigar and looked at all of the bikes that showed up and answered a few questions about our lil o Fatboy. After that we rode to the Hatchet Brewery in Southern Pines, tipped back a couple of pints and then made our way back home.
After dinner, cards and a couple of episodes of Billions, Blondie is sleeping and I'm up in the cave.
First bowl of the evenin was EMP in one of my Bulldogs. Now enjoyin a bowl of Liz in my Dunnie Zulu... Sippin some Buffalo Trace and watchin youtube videos.
cheers

Today is not just another Monday, is THE Monday because since November 2020 the Cafe in Greece finally opened. At last after so many months which i was hiding in groves-parks smoking my pipe in a state of illegality i am a Free man to enjoy my coffee and pipe without worrying for a fine from the Police. I am smoking Skandinavik Sungold breathing the sweet air of Freedom!

sidstavros Awesome, glad to hear it! On the ride in this morning it was Amphora Burley Blend with Amphora Kentucky Blend mixed in, smoked in a cob, with coffee, as suggested by Darin. Very nice, makes for a very good morning smoke, with a solid dose of vitamin N.

May 3rd. morning bowl was the awakened elder/semois/tray scraps of sweet tea.. just trying to get done with the tin at this point. luxor basket canadian. Just finished the second bowl filled with montford point marine (c&d) in the savi 515 rusticated panel billiard. (yet another pipe from rebornpipes with a restoration archive page of its return to use.) rain may be heavy later with possible storms so any extra bowls today will be short and probably tray scraps in the luxor which is my beater/bad weather pipe.

Another bowl of mixed Amphora Burley/Kentucky, in a Pony Express on lunch. Between the pouches and the ready to smoke moisture content, I can take this anywhere and smoke at moments notice, I like that.

Colonial Pastime with some red Virginias added to tone down the almost lakeland strength of this aromatic...I've been on a bit of a natural kick lately and this mornings cob was a bit of a shock. Much nicer now, in this bent billiard from Pipes By Lee.
