Anyone had experience with this pistol?
I like the size, capacity and weight. There is a cross bolt safety model for us numb finger types. The price is also reasonable.
They claim a slim Double Stack magazine. I wonder how that functions?

I believe it was Sig-Sauer that originated the "stack-and-a-half" magazine for their 365, allowing for increased ammo capacity without creating a grip frame that only a gorilla could handle. Magazines for my 365XL have functioned without a bobble. (2 12-round, and 2 15-round) I don't see why the Mossberg mags would be any different, but have no experience with them. After buying a S&W Shield .45 with nothing but the Glock-style "safety" I have decided that I will never again own a pistol without a safety. I prefer a 1911-style set-up which my Sig has. The operation is positive and instinctive. The Mossberg seems to have a strange behind-the-trigger safety that I have never seen used on a pistol before. But at least they do have a model with a real safety.

There are a lot of striker fired compact 9mm pistols on the market, and overall, they are really good if you go with a solid company. I like Hickock 45 reviews and searched to see if he had run this pistol through the paces, unfortunately he has not. He did a video on the MC1 that is worth watching: I have no problem with my double stack magazines, be they in my USGI 45 from Springfield Armory, or my Ruger Sr9C, or SA Hellcat, they all feed flawlessly.

I had to fire it single action on the first round.

I am not familiar with the P88, but the current double stack 9mm pistols that I am familiar with do not need large paws to get a proper grip. I do have large hands and prefer the extended mags though.

Extended mags? I have a 33-rounder for my CZ75. How's that for "extended"?>

I've had double stack magazines since the Model 59 S&w that I wish I still had. Never any problem from the magazines. I've had more problems with single stack mags. All the reviews I've seen for the Mossberg have been good.

Thanks for bringing up Hickock 45 reviews, I forgot about him. He is great.
