I likey. The black one and the natural are really nice. The only thing that does them in for me is the P lip. I have one and do not care for it.

As I read this post I am enjoying my pete newgrange silver spigot x105 and wonder if I should get another petersons!. What I really came to post about is the P-lip.
I am going to take the dubious taks of defending the P-lip!. I own two. one is on a lovely kinsale xl13 bulldog, and the other is a...get ready for it... Petersons special series rusticated barrel army mount with P-lip, or the "petite" pete in my other posts. I hated the bulldog. good smoking pipe but using a fishtail for as long as I have I instantly covered up the draw hole with my normal placement. I tried all sorts of ways to not suddenly feel like the pipe was plugged solid by my lip covering the hole. Finally, I clenched it. the pipe is a bit heavy and not a first choice for clenching but it actually balanced pretty well and the draw stayed open. as I got used to it I seem to have made the right adjustment and can smoke it in any position without issue. When the petite pete arrived I was already doing well with the P-lip so a second one fit right in. that pipe is so light that clenching is like a feather and the P-lip helps. I suggest a real effort to learn the technique is well rewarded. I was going to dump the kinsale bulldog before but once understood how to manage the P-lip I find a wonderful pipe I would not trade for nothing..(well almost nothing...)

Thanks for the heads up Charlie. I’m digging that billiard. Sadly, I’m not a bent pipe kind of guy but I can certainly picture you with one. Cheers brother.👍
