B. J. Thomas died yesterday. He was one of my favorite singers and a home town boy. My favorite show was when I took a Long Island girl to the Houston Rodeo and he sang "Eyes of a New York Woman". A perfect night.

I remember the name.
If I remember right he had a few hits long ago. Was the singer in the Butch and Sundance movie about raindrops.
He was a fine singer.
RIP, Mr. Thomas.

Had a group text with all my brothers where I mentioned it. All of us had different favorites but all great songs.
I liked Raindrops Keep falling on my head and Rock and Roll Lullaby.

Fond memories of me as a youngster sitting in the back seat of my mother's Mazda in the 70's with my sister listening to B.J. Thomas songs on her 8-track.
