 this is a 100 gram log of Mostek Strang I am saving this one for my 40th birthday. dec 23rd 2020 I am cracking this bad boy open. it is already approximately 2 years old when I took this picture Anyone else got a tin/jar they are saving for a special occasion? |

I used to, but I lost interest in the tobacco. So, instead I just cracked it open at one of the pipe gatherings. It was a 20 yo. tin of McC Bombay Court.

I don't have anything set up for a specific date, but I have specific tobaccos put aside because they are disappearing, and will be pulled out when I get the urge.

I have a tin of McCranies Red Ribbon first year that I am saving (88 or something). I don't have a date in mind but I am leaning towards the day I retire from work.

Thirty years... that should be a pretty amazing smoke! Funny you should mention that blend, at the pipe club meeting we were all in agreement that we need to do a group buy for our cellars. |

I looked at the tin tonight and it is the 1996 crop. Should be some sweet sugary stuff.
