Hello from California!
Semi-new to the pipe, I re-started this hobby about a month ago. My first foray consisted of putting Bugler in a wooden "surfer pipe" to get my vitamin N when I ran out of papers. I quit rolling my own about 10 years ago, and have enjoyed cigars occasionally since. I ran out of space in the humidor last month after a buying spree on cbid, and decided to look at pipe tobacco on a whim - which led me down the rabbit hole a bit, as I realized that I knew NOTHING about pipe tobacco. One month and a ton of thread reading later, and I own a MM legend and a Rossi pot, along with a couple ounces each of VaPers, VaBurs, English blends, some straight Virginia slices, an ounce of 1Q, and a tin each of Nightcap and Escudo Navy De Luxe that I am "cellaring". All of this purchased from B&Ms to try and support the dying retailers in the golden state.
At this point, I'm still trying to find my "style" - I've enjoyed pretty much everything except some bulk aromatic "Vanilla Creme Custard" that I got to try to get the lady to sit by me while I smoke.
