Thanks, gents. Eli is like a Customs Inspector: anything new that comes into the house needs careful inspection, which starts with my opening the box under his close supervision. Once approved I can have it, but not before. Pipe hangs very well, and for the size of the bowl seems light. The grain is quite striking and the metal-work nicely done.

Never mind. I saw read it. I was too quick on the trigger.

Neerup pipes contain magic pixie dust in the finishing process, and the engineering is on par with the finish.
It is easy to lust after the offerings from that maker, some fine pipes leave the doors, this one is no exception.

Very nice. Now, what are you going to have in it as its first smoke?

Very nice. Now, what are you going to have in it as its first smoke? Jamie— my go-to is Sutliff Vanilla Custard, AKA 'Z92.' Boring to some I suppose, but I am very prone to tongue-bite and I find that Z-92 always gives me a soft, easy, biteless— but very satisfying— smoke. I'll branch out, eventually, maybe... Thanks for asking!

Thanks for asking! Vanilla Custard is a good smoke and I could smoke it every day forever. It's only curiosity that keeps me exploring new blends. Same with Captain Black Royal.

Happy smoking with that grand looking pipe! Perfect for sitting and observing the goings on of the high plains.
