Notions of the gentleman who helps you transition to the next world have been a little skewed. The gentleman refers to himself as such and has no other name or moniker as far as I know. He is not some spectre or hooded fellow, those stories are for the most part hogwash. He dresses rather pleasantly, in a simple black suit, pressed and with a thin black tie. He speaks calmly and is quite pleasant to converse with, always very interested in the current behaviors of society.
What many don't know about the gentleman is that he is a smoker. A chimney of a man. Last we spoke he had let me know that he has some access to a specific tobacconist within our world that he visits quite frequently. He smokes terrible cigars though, a veritable fiend for cheap Backwoods, and he chain smokes them. He has a passionate love affair with smoking. As part of the journey, he allows smokers to take one piece of paraphernalia with them, he has stated to me that it will be usable in the next world and there is access to fine tobacco there.
What is it you would take with you? A favorite pipe? Trusty lighter? Beloved tamper? Tell me about it.

Definitely one of Ron's pipes...probably the Rhodesian or bulldog and some butternut burley...just have to have the essentials.

Coming back to this one, with a serious response, I would have to take the forged tamper that Professor S. sent me. This thing is not only beautiful, it is weighted flawlessly, and has a nice spade on the other end, which is convenient for dipping into the snuff. I don't think it has gotten further than arm's reach from me since it arrived. |

If there's access to tobacco and I'm only allowed to bring one item, it would have to be a pipe. I'd bring my Neerup.
