I'm not sure if any Kristoff cigars have passed through my humidor. What are your thoughts and suggestions concerning this maker? Thanks!

Haven't tried any of them myself. My local shop keeps a few, I'll have to pick a couple up next time I'm in there.

I've watched several reviews online and decided it's definitely worth picking up a sampler to try. They get good marks for consistency and construction. The only downside I've encountered is the possible need for longer aging once they arrive.
Pistoff, original Criollo and Maduro Ligero all sound tasty!

I don’t know why I hadn’t noticed this thread before but Kristoffs are my favorite line of cigars so far. I like the Maduros with dark cocoa espresso notes - and the Pistoff Kristoff is a solid smoke.

I smoke them every once in a while and find them to be a very nice cigar. I'll be interested to hear your impressions.

The Pistoff cigar intrigued me so much I ordered 5. Time will tell!

I have smoked a couple dozen in the past years. In my opinion its a crap shoot if the construction is going to be decent enough to even smoke. The flavors are wishy washy. It's often all over the place. They tend to burn to quick and often canoe while smoking. I prefer maduros but will entertain a habano once in a while. Kristoff cigars can and will give you a satisfying nic hit but in my opinion are a little to mild. Like all things in life rather or not you are going to like them is subjective. I personally do not. For about the same price you could do better with a Partagas these are a little steeper in dollars but nominal. For the quality smoke and robust consistant flavor you might want to try those if you haven't already. Macanudo is another brand you could smoke instead.

I'm a real big fan of Hammer and Sickle, Leaf, Macunudo, My Father, Padron, Partagas, Blind Mans Bluff, Lunatic, and a ton others I can not remember now.

Pistoffs taste the best when you're really angry.

Thank you all! I believe I'll pass on them for now but will grab one if they happen to show up at my B&M.
