Bald Headed Teacher in the MM Elf Cobbit, gonna have to pick up another one of these pipes... Glad you enjoy yours. I have a Shire Cobbit that I enjoy smoking quite a bit, and have been thinking of adding an Elf Cobbit to the collection.

Good morning! I dropped my Chestnut 4111 this morning (I was still asleep) when I grabbed it. As my Dunhill pipes are on the top shelf of one of my bookshelves and there is a drawer on the bottom, the pipe must have fell on the drawer's handle then bounced off the floor because there is a 1 cm long scratch on the front of the bowl which is, of course because it's a new pipe, very visible. As upsetting as it is at least there is carpet on the floor so something really upsetting such as the stem snapping off didn't occur. In any case, I shall prevail and survive. It's only a pipe. Starting the day with coffee paired with a mixture of Captain Black & Old Joe Krantz in my County 4110 Liverpool (2017).

You've put alot of work into that collection lately and I can only image the heart drop that occurred.

Thankfully, I'm back to going in at 6:00 instead of 5:00 today, so plenty of time to get ready. It's going to be Voodoo Queen in the Vario 124 this morning, with coffee of course.

For me, the bowl size is perfect. Hard to manage on the lawnmower though, so I swapped stems for a short bent Danish stem. Now I wish I could but them that way...

I think the Shire is the same bowl size as the Diplomat (not 100% sure), you might want to try one of those for the mower. I like mine for LBF! I have the short bent Danish on my Diplomat

It’s a definite bummer but is now a part of that pipe's story and something for its next caretaker to wonder about.

C&D Eight State Burley in an MM bent Great Dane egg. I will be bringing about 10 tins of this Eight State Burley small batch to the NASPC show and willing to trade them all for slightly aged tins of Haunted Bookshop and various other tins.
