Wider bowls do present problem with standard pipe racks. The solution is more pipe racks.

You people would tell a junkie where to buy heroin.

Nice pipe rack Maggie and love those cobs. I had to modify or make my own racks for my wider pipes which is almost all of them.

One note on buying pipe racks, the closed circle ones hold straight pipes pretty well, but the open looped ones accommodate bent stems better.
And buying a pipe rack is like buying a gun safe.... many realize later down the road they should have gotten a bigger one. If I can run across a 36 pipe rack like John recently scored, I will sell off some of my smaller ones.

this rack had two purposes -- to put my most often smoked pipes on and to shame hubby into buckling down and making me one. I'm shooting for a 36 pipe rack, patterned similarly to the one John bought.
