That's one thing we'll never see around here - discount on tobacco! Enjoy it while you can.

That's one thing we'll never see around here - discount on tobacco! Enjoy it while you can. The last few years, I haven’t been buying tobacco like I did in the past, but prior to that we saw some phenomenal sales. To the point it was foolish not to buy, especially on the Stokkebye flakes and bullseye. Dunhill Navy rolls for under $10 was quite a great time to buy.

fadingdaylight I always appreciate these posts and encourage them for the benefit of all. On this count, I go to cigarbid for most of my Seattle Pipe club needs.... The discounts @ cigarbid can be 50% or greater...

However, one does have to understand the lay of the land there and approach things with caution (For example, the shipping prices and taxes). Below is a past thread with a few posts that cover important pieces of information: Note: A few things have changed over the years, like bidding (prices) on some items have gone up, sales tax probably will be applied etc.
One is also limited to the pipe blends etc. cigarbid offers. These blends come and go, the length of time vaies, though one should be able to pick up a decent supply of what they offer while bidding cautiously (Most things are on the site for months at a time, a few for years.).

Certainly worth educating oneself with that type of discount possibility at cigarbid.
My brother smokes cigars like President Grant did, he is a big fan.

Yes, beware the fine print. But the deals are there, you just have to watch for them. I average about $9 a tin for Balkan Sasieni, taxes and shipping included.
