As usual, Chuck Stanion wrote a great piece, really a fitting tribute.

That was in regards to Hitler and Stalin… I quite agree, sadly so many in the current culture would identify with them maybe not in name, but by deed.
Years ago when my son was in boy scouts, the Scout leader a grizzled old guy smoking a pipe recited ‘“Dan McGrew” I was amazed at his ability to recite the whole story as a gifted speaker, and the kids were focused on everything he said.
What a great person Robert Service was, his last name exemplifies his mission in life to his fellow man. And Marlena Dietrich? That must have been quite an experience.

Never heard of the guy. Went to the article to skim it and read it through with great delight. Why is it writers lead such exciting lives?
