Enjoying some luxury navy flake in my stanwell 139 Hard to go wrong with LNF or a good Stanwell. Im finding both of these statements to be very true! Have always loved stanwell pipes, but this blend is slowly becoming a favorite

Have always loved stanwell pipes, but this blend is slowly becoming a favorite You have Orlik Golden Sliced as one of your favorites. It's the same tobaccos with different casings. A sweet Danish casing on the Luxury Navy, and a bergamot orange casing on the OGS. Then you have Peter Heinrich's Golden Sliced, which tastes just like Orlik and with the same citrus casings, but has no perique in the flake. You'd be hard pressed to distinguish it from OGS, though.

Bowl of 2017 Skiff Mixture in a sandblasted B42 Pete then some HH Burley Flake in a Walt MM CG bent. Not a huge Burley fan but I think it mite smoke the best in a Cob. Can not say why.

Finally made it to my smoking spot after having to drive the wrong way to bypass backed up traffic after work. Freeway backed up for miles going the opposite direction. Anyway, having some PS Luxury Navy Flake in my "55" by Ron rdpipes. And a Sam Adams of course.

Full walks earlier, no-band 6x42 for company. After the Ed is fed, Boswell Northwoods (gifted) in old SamMartin freehand & continue with the papers. Only "major" thing to do, chauffer wifie to pain clinic early afternoon.

WC Slices in the Wednesday cob. Trying to understand why the USPS had my package out for delivery yesterday, but returned it to the local post office, who put it on a truck and sent it across the state and back overnight. Now its sitting in a distribution facility 25 miles away.

A little 2015 Five Brothers in an MM Country Gentleman cob. Seems to me the entire piping internet forum community has forgotten Five Brothers, and indeed, I have never ordered it since.

Cleaned up a pipe I've not smoked in a time. A 1970 Jobey Stromboli 145 deeply gnarl-rusticated bent billiard. The pipe was my grandfather's. Going to smoke some C&D Eight State Burley small batch in it. I've not waxed it, just a light alcohol cleaning through the stem and a few alcohol soaked bristle cleaners reamed around the bowl.
