Hi all here, I'm new in this forum, I have followed it some times and read some interesting threads here. I'm a not so young pipe smoker, have smoked pipes since the beginning of the 80's. I'm a Danish guy, there live in China and have done this for decades. I love the pipe hobby and enjoy smoke a good tobacco in a nice pipe.
My taste of tobacco is quit wide, as long they not get too strong or aromatic. I like light to medium Latakia mixtures as well as VA mixtures with different oriental mixed in. For pipes I like and prefer sandblasted simple classic models, which lead to, I don't have any very fancy or decorated pipes only simple and classic shapes. I like many different pipes brands, Savinelli is one of my favourites as well as Stanwell and Dunhill. I hope for some good pipe "talks" and some good story's to read from all of your guys.
If I have some knowledge, there can help some newer pipe smokers, I will be happy to give my humble experiences to all it can help.
Glad to have you here! It is hard to go wrong with the classic shapes, that is why they are in that league!
We look forward to hearing your advice!
