I've always had good experiences with the tubs Middleton uses, but this takes the cake. I was looking through some old stuff a couple of days ago and found an open tub of Prince Albert. I don't know how old it is, but it has the old style label, so at least a few years. It was about a third full. The moisture was still perfect, and the tobacco smokes just fine. Most importantly, it has rekindled my love of Prince Albert -- I've been smoking a bowl every day. It's not gourmet, but sometimes Prince Albert in a cob just hits the spot.

Back in the day ,P.A. hit the spot for lots of folks, both in the pipe and rolled up. Most any old garage sale will have a little tin or a tub that Dad or granddad pulled from. All my uncles and even my Dad fell back on P.A. when things were tight and no "ready-mades" could be had.
