I'm looking around for some good holiday blends to score for this year. Last year I enjoyed C & D's "Corn Cob Pipe and a Button Nose" as well as 2020 Kringle Flake. Anybody know of any that should be on the to try list for this year? Am thinking "We Three Kings" by C & D - want to get a few others though since C & D is so hit or miss to my tastes.

I will be smoking McClelland's Holiday Spirit again this year because I planned ahead. 😉 Sutliff Pumpkin Spice is a good blend.

I don't smoke much aromatic tobacco, but the Corn Cob Pipe was pretty good. I didn't care for Golden Days of Yore at all. Country Squire's Figgy Pudding was a nice blend, as well. Last year's C&D Wintertime Reserve series of flakes, each named for one of Santa's reindeer, was only available with the purchase of a Peterson pipe. I got a tin of Vixen, which was basically a Navy Flake. Really good, but the only thing holiday about it was the name. If anything, I'd probably order more Figgy Pudding.

I have some Christmas Cheer 2016 & 2017 on hand. Besides the C & D, McClelland (when they were operating), Peterson (for a while, anyway) and some of the B & Ms offering their own 'House' blends, I'm not sure many manufacturers still offer Christmas blends, which is a bit sad.

Nice. You can leave some for Santa instead of milk and cookies. Santa gets a glass of Jefferson's Ocean and a pipe.😉

Also watch out for Sutliff Cringle Flake. This was excellent last year.
Ken Byron may also do a holiday blend, these tend to be good as well.

I am still working on some 2016 Peterson’s Holiday Season. I truly enjoy that blend. I picked up a tin of 2019 Cringle Flake some time back, but have not opened it yet. I will buy a tin or two of the Peterson’s if they release a new one this year. Same for Cringle Flake.

When fresh it wasn't that great.

Luxury Twist flake for me. Very sugary and people like the aroma. My nephews say it smells like cookies.

Probably not a Christmas blend but it reminds me of the season. In a local nature walk a few years back, the wife and I decided to go for a walk at Christmas time....I was smoking Peter Stokkebye Nougat and heard a kid behind me say "I smell brownies"...to which his mother said, "So do I, we will be at grandma's house soon for Christmas where there will be brownies" www.pipesandcigars.com/p/peter-stokkebye-24-nougat-pipe-tobacco/1439972/That is the blend smoked on the set of the Peter Jackson renditions of the Hobbit, says Brian Levine that worked for Stokkebye at the time. It has an incredible room note if you are with family at Christmastime... and better than most aromatics, says this non aro-smoker.Tinderbox used to market it as North Sea blend.

They have two seasonal blends. Sleepy Hollow comes out around Halloween. It’s got a slight pumpkin spice flavor. Wenceslaus comes out around Thanksgiving. It’s got various Christmas spices with some cocoa coffee flavors. Both are really nice. I generally don’t smoke aros, but these I enjoy.

Having just tried Christmas Cheer last night for the first time, I'm quite jealous of those of you who planned ahead. I was naive when I began pipe smoking, and took Mcclelland's for granted. Never got to try everything before they closed!
In any event, I second Boswell's Christmas Cookie above as a fantastic aro. And C&D Jolly Old St Nicholas was unexpectedly good a couple years ago.
Though this may not be a truly "holiday" blend, ...And So To Bed by Esoterica is an all-time favorite, and has some apricot-ish spice flavors that could be a worthwhile smoke to try around the holidays.
