Plum Pudding S.R., with some Fox & Hound from the spill tray. The pipe is a Dublinish ,spot carved freehand , it's from the early years ,and was my fifth pipe purchase, a Wenhall, and while it's a really nice looking pipe, I found it too hefty for my God-given teeth. Now, with my lab-created choppers ,it's no problem to clench...behind every cloud there's a silver lining!

Wilke #191 in a Butz Choquin Calabash Jr. I bought this one missing the stem but otherwise almost new for cheap. I had an extra GBD Perspex stem that I fitted to it. It is in the top of the class of great smoking pipes.

October 10th. Had a bit of the Q1/scraps mishmash in the Cob while chatting with the riders of my Sunday JP ride. I always use the cob for travel, Smokes great, and no need to worry what happens to it! After 170 miles, a good 3 egg omelet, and new memories of the beautiful countryside, I settled into a nice bowl of union square in the peterson xl13 bulldog. while not a morning or bedtime blend it is turning into a good mid day filler. Think I am starting to shop for a good example of the prince shape. Having a wider shallow bowl appeals for taming burleys and quicker cold weather bowls (assuming no metal inlays and a robust stummel. my pete bulldog has a nice decorative metal ferrule I managed to pop off with thermal expansion learning a valuable lesson in mixed materials. my Savinelli estelli non pariel army mount rusticated billiard is done in acrylic and is loose in summer but tight in winter. great pipe but that weird material used as a gasket for the army mount seems to be a weakness, no idea what I will use to fix it once time wears it out.I never take it outside below fifty degrees.... More shopping and thinking is needed for I could easily ruin a pipe in the artic temps we get from time to time. So far the venerable GBD 256 canadian and a luxor canadian seem to thrive in cold temps. I just always pocket them as soon as I am done to prevent shock cooling. Anyhoo, the evening bowl looks to be more escudo unless I go load some sparkplug now to dry. great blend but needs a lot of prep! hope everyone is well and currently enjoying a favorite blend at the time of reading this post.

SH In-B-Tween Mixture in my Savinelli Collection 2015 Smooth Natural bent Panel (#28 of 66). That's just a First Class pipe! ๐๐ Thanks! With its big bowl, I donโt pull it out often. However, it is comfortably clenchable.

MB St Bruno in a MM Mizzou. It's been in a jar for a while and lost some of the savory flavor and has more of that grammar-school-paste flavor (according to a friend).

My taste in pipe design is more traditional these days, but there's something about Danish freehands that take me back. BTW, this pipe is HUGE. The Soren is actually a clenchable pipe. They both need to be smoked more often.
