my own "Mellow Morning Mixture" in my Kristi freehand. It's a mix of S.W.R., Edgeworth RR, P.S. Cube Cut. Now that sounds like a winning combo, Herb! Yep...it's tasty alright; I'm down to a 1/2 pt. jar, and I guess next time I make a jar, I'll use the Lane Limited RR, or Sutliff's match. The current mix has some very well aged, original Ready Rubbed in it , but I'll be smoking the last of that all on it's own.

I'm enjoying the Escudo, I think my smoking ability finally has developed enough to be able to again. I have a 2nd tin put away for some age, pretty sure I'll add more to the cellar.

Another Ashton Brindle with McClellands 2015. Another great one. Are those two from back in Bill Taylor's day, I guess?

No, both were turned by Jimmy Craig, great smokers. Legend has it that he carries on Bill Taylors oil curing process. I would love to have a Bill Taylor pipe, from what I have read, ones turned early in the day were fine, but after a few cocktails, an afternoon made pipe could get sketchy.

It's not as nosewarmer as it seems in a pic by itself. Here it is alongside the Sav 673
