in from both Phizer booster & while there, flu. Tea at desk, Boswell Northwoods in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Nap next then to sups. Easy day so far, course depending on wifie's many needs 67, steady light rain for now Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since '62 I'm waiting for the local drugstore to get the boosters to get my flu shot. I might as well be down for one week as two. I always get sick from the shots.

I never get the shots, therefore I never get sick.
The last time I had the flu was in 1986.
No colds since then either.

You seem to have a nice collection of Grabows and Kaywoodies.

I have a small collection, but trying to grow it a little. Maybe 16 in all. Fell in love with the old drugstore brands. Some have come to me in great shape, some need a little love. I've found it fun to do clean-ups and light restorations. And, it's relatively inexpensive. Thanks.

Fun is the idea.
I've got a nice little Grand Duke Rhodesian. No Kaywoodies yet.

The modern Kaywoodie/Yello-Bole/Medico pipes are pretty nice for not a lot of money. Of course, you can spend much more for the premium Kaywoodies, too. They can be total eye candy.

That collection is very small.

Lucy Crale raises and point her pistol to that bitch Elsa Greer, cocks the hammer but Hercule Poirot convince her to don't shoot and give him the pistol. The pistol has the hammer down although Lucy never did it by herself on that scene, a little director's mistake. I am smoking Mac Baren Harald Halberg Vintage Syrian in a Brebbia, double Greek coffee beside me.

You’re the second person to post Skiff this morning. As I haven’t had the pleasure of trying this SG blend, I’d appreciate a review please. Gypo (Ted) you too please? Thanks, gents. 👍👍 The Skiff I received from isett2860 is from 2017. I did not detect any heavy or even mild castings on this blend. It to me who knows little would call it a very mild + English style blend. I hope this helps a little. Knowledge is power. Thanks Ted! 👍👍

After 30 years in the Service I’m just use to getting up early. Sadly, sleeping in for me is rising around 0600hrs. Happy Friday brother! By the way, how are things in SC Pete ( darktater)?

In from usual 2-miles power walks, no-band 5x50 for company. After the Ed is fed, Exotique in SerJac Maxima 1/8 bent bulldog & continue with the papers. Sure plenty to do eventually, mostly wifie related.
45, to 56 eventually, 70% rain in the works
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY pipe/cigar since '62

October 22nd. A seasonal chill has decended with some heavy cloud cover over the area Thankfully the wind is calm. Having blockade runner in the pete 107 ebony spigot. the wide bowl brings out a light sweet nut once the rum evaporates a bit. I like navy blends in the chill so navigator in the newgrange x105 spigot later. Did read alex baldwin shot two people on a movie set. plenty of questions swirling about the incident so that will be an intriguing story to watch.. Every normal person knows One does not point ANY firearm at a person for any reason except to injure or kill but it is rumored he is a bit unstable and not having proper firearms training might contribute to his actions.. Not to nitpick, but if the mRna cocktail currently mislabeled as a "vaccine" wears off in a few months, does not prevent getting covid, does not prevent trasmission of covid why get a booster?. it is the same shot that failed the first time. What will folks do get a booster twice a year yet still transmit the covid and suffer illness?. Seems dangerous. For the record, I and my bride have had covid. I still have a small lump in my right sinus. I lost smell and taste for a while and would say it affected my senses long term. anyhoo, hope all is well and everyone is having a favorite bowl at the time of reading this post!
