Tried a small bowl of the newly arrived CRF w/ Perique in a Savinelli Petite. It needs some age. Not surprising, given it was tinned all of 3 weeks ago. I just wanted to check it out.

Half and Half in an old 1960's (?) Yello-Bole Airograte. A pipe just like my dad had in the 60's, and one of the tobaccos I remember him smoking. Took a while to find one of these pipes in decent shape. Now I just need to clean it up and refinish the bowl. Would like to find a couple more bowls too. Photo added later.

I know my Dad briefly smoked a pipe at one time, but have no idea what it was or where it went. Glad you get to enjoy that combo. I'll keep an eye out for bowls.

When I was going through my parents stuff while liquidating their estate, I looked for his Yello-Bole, but it was probably long gone. I did find 4 pipes that belonged to his dad, my grandpa. It's nice to have those.

I got my Grabow Viking with extra bowls there.

Interesting discovery... I just got a tin of Peterson's NIGHTCAP. Alone I am unimpressed, but I tried mixing a goodly pinch with my every-day smoke Sutliff's Z91 and it was quite good. I'll be smoking that for a while. Grab another tin, let it age just a few years without opening and revisit. It'll be a different ball game.

I didn't have time to smoke much today, benn cutting a lot of wood and then storing it in the wood shed. I still found time to have pipefull no. 7 in my Kingston Judge with Captain Black Roayl. Now, to nurse my sore back, I just started some Davidoff Danish Mixture in my County 4110 Liverpool (2017). That tobacco is a really nice aromatic. Peach Perrier on the side.

Luxury Bullseye Flake in the Friday Savinelli. I usually smoke this in a smaller bowl, but in the spirit of the rotation, I decided to give it a whirl. This is rubbed out leftovers from the bottom of the jar. Getting more perique spice than in smaller bowl. Interesting

Lucy Crale raises and point her pistol to that bitch Elsa Greer, cocks the hammer but Hercule Poirot convince her to don't shoot and give him the pistol. The pistol has the hammer down although Lucy never did it by herself on that scene, a little director's mistake. I am smoking Mac Baren Harald Halberg Vintage Syrian in a Brebbia, double Greek coffee beside me. Sid, I have been worried about you! So happy to see you posting again. I believe that that pistol is a double/single action.

I never get the shots, therefore I never get sick. The last time I had the flu was in 1986. No colds since then either. I've heard that from a couple of guys here before they ended up in the hospital.

I've heard that from a couple of guys here before they ended up in the hospital. And I know quite a few guys in the same boat as me. Two of them contracted covid and got paid to spend a few weeks on the golf course… another booked a cheap trip to Alaska to go fishing, another finally got free time to work on his Roadrunner. All had mild symptoms, and now have the antibodies. Pretty sure I have been exposed to it, Fauci can kiss a fat man’s arse in Linden before I take his serum.
