The meeting has been postponed to next Saturday (10/16) in order to avoid some scheduling conflicts with the holiday weekend.

In the next year I will be visiting my brother in Woodstock Ct. to run around the northeast, if the stars align on your meetings I hope to stop by.

PLease do. Londonderry is about 1.5 hours north of him. I'm on the southern end of the Lakes Region about another hour out, and might be able to meet up if there isn't a meeting and scheduling permits.

It was a good day at Twins. This month the pipe club looked at the history of Gawith and Hoggarth. The shop carries a number of their blends, including the twists that I haven't seen frequently. About 8 people came to the meeting, one from just east of Hartford, CT. It lasted from noon until about 3:30, when a number of people adjourned to the upstairs bar and lounge. It was good to see a number of pipers, and discuss the various blends.
I couldn't resist, and ended up picking up another pipe. An unfinished rusticated Nording nose warmer #1 with silver band. Enjoyed some G&H Dark Birds Eye in it this evening.

Thank you, I love the unfinished rustic look with the palm and silver accents. I have a Savinelli Series III and another unfinished Nording, and it is interesting to see how they darken over time.

I understand. I have a Morgan Bones, and enjoy watching the slow changes in it. I hope to run across an unfinished Savinelli as some point as well.
