"Playboy" is still published? I had no idea. They hit the pinnacle in 1968 with Miss Myer's. I cannot remember her first name. I am certain you fellow oldsters remember her. Cynthia Myers, December 1968, 17 years old if I remember right. Can I be controversial and propose Katarina Witt as the best playmate? |

Within the realm of playboy, I don't think that there is a lot of ground that is controversial. One thing I can say though is that no matter who sired her, Christine Hefner never posed a threat to any playmates. |

 Playboy has a MAN in a Bunny Suit in the Cover of Playboy. They've had men on the cover before. I remember Burt Reynolds and Donald Trump being on there for sure. Sure, Hefner too. Reynolds and Trump were not wearing a bunny suit, lots of make up and high heels, though. Which is cool is one enjoys that but I think another magazine would have reached a better suited audience than Playboy.  |

Burt Reynolds broke new ground by being a centerfold on the short lived Playgirl magazine, not Playboy.

They were just featured with women on the cover and did an interview. I guess I was not clear about that in my previous posts.

Yes, of course. Reynolds and Trump were not centerfold for Playboy. Nor Hefner. A little Playboy magazine trivia: Hefner did appear in one centerfold. He was the out of focus silhouette of a man in the background of the July 1955 centerfold. |

Playboy has changed it's target audience. It used to be for straight dudes who want to see scantily clad hot chicks and to read good articles. They're less of a trendsetter and more of a trend follower now. Whatever.
