I keep a few head of livestock mostly for enjoyment and to maintain agricultural land use status for tax purposes. Today, "Harold", a four year old Ramboulet/Suffolk cross Ram, came to live with us. A little shy at first, he seems to be settling in. He began headbutting a young buck goat and chasing my only ewe. Photo from my flip phone. I hope to obtain higher resolution shots soon.

My FIL raised pygmy goats, Guineas, pigeons, finches, and more. He got along better with animals.

You should call him "Dodge" you then have a Dodge Ram 4X4....nevermind, you would get hit with registration fees.

That ram will live up to his name if you don't stay on your toes.

Yeah, cleaning coops and plucking them, not pleasant.

Yeah, cleaning coops and plucking them, not pleasant. It's very relaxing watching them eat their own shite.

That ram will live up to his name if you don't stay on your toes. My last Ram, "Sammy Bin Lamby", was a real butt nut. He would ram a fence post. I had to put my hand out flat like sparring with a Boxer. This guy seems mellower.

My youngest daughter was a target for getting rammed, we couldn’t visit a petting zoo or farm that had goats that didn’t look upon her as easy pickings.
She loves Greek pita’s though, so she has exacted revenge.

My one ewe, "Mavis", wants nothing to do with the new ram, "Harold". She is hanging with the old donkey for protection. She has not seen another sheep since her early lamb days. No doubt Harold confuses her and he seems to want something. I am trying to find one or two more ewes to even things out.
