Fighting knives are most definitely NOT my thing. I have a really nice collection of “using” knives for an outdoorsman. Well-made knives are a weakness of mine. But I saw this Bob Terzuala design of a Jap “tactical” knife and was taken by it. Arrived today. Extremely well made and will cut you if you just look at it. The kydex sheath is awesome with its belt-width adjustment and beautifully calibrated release. Will I use it for what it is designed for? No. But it is a very nice addition to my collection.

How wide is the spine of that knife? Similar to the Tanto by Cold Steel?

Not a great pic. I think it is just the bigger, non-stainless version
EDIT: didn't realize how dusty it was....

WOW...looks like the same thickness of the spine and no skull puncture heal. Both will do the job!!

Nice knife. I just send an email to Knife Depot about 3 knives I purchased last week. They haven't shipped yet. They may have sold me something they didn't have it stock. And they are discontinued, so they won't ever get them in stock.

How wide is the spine of that knife? Similar to the Tanto by Cold Steel? I had one much like your Cold Steel, but another brand - some "off-brand". Nice enough knife though. It had a cord wrapped grip and different style butt cap. Gave it to my son a few months ago.

How wide is the spine of that knife? Similar to the Tanto by Cold Steel? I've got this exact knife, but I got it with the kydex sheath. I so wish I had the leather sheath. I've contacted Cold Steel but no luck.

Spine on the Terzuola at the hilt is .175. The blade is 4". (Making it legal in many jurisdictions that specify maximum lengths.)

Would actually make a good kitchen knife. Despite having it I don't like to think of what it could do to a human body. Knives scare the hell out of me when used as weapons.

Those who do not take knives seriously ("He only had a knife...") should look at a few autopsy photographs. And don't do this close to lunch.
