Around 1996 I was in a smoke shop smoking a cigar and talking to another fellow who was also smoking a cigar. He told me that he was in charge of entertainment at a casino in Mississippi. He told me of a night that Chuck did a two and a half hour show without stopping. He said the place was full of people and no-one left.I once heard him do an x rated version of My Ding A Ling.It was really funny.I guess you can tell that I love his music. The good thing is it's still with us.

He had a long run and keft his mark in a big way on rock n roll. RIP Chuck.

He was definitely a trailblazer in rock and roll, and his timing was right on as America dealt with civil rights...a great ambassador on both accounts.
