Well, that’s 2 less adults and 1 less kid for my ridiculously large bird. Yay Covid! Sorry to hear that. Our gathering has also been reduced, but due to spouses of family members trumping us. Looks like me, the girlfriend and one sister at her parents' house. Personally, I like more bird per person. But I may be quarantined again, as I see the doctor today about post-COVID bronchitis or pneumonia. I hope it's one of those two - other options are not so great. |

My smoking will take place Friday, when I'm home. The WCC package didn't arrive, yet, so I'll have something else. Maybe I'll try this Xmas Cookie peteguy tossed in with the Stonehaven I bought from him. |

Smoking the bird now on Apple and cherry, it is only a 17 pounder… doing the smoke /roasted method which is best for Turkey. Slow/low smoke can dry a bird out and it lingers in the danger zone too long for my liking.

Unlike many, I love turkey, and everything that goes with it . We were gifted a twenty pound bird ,and there were six at our table this year.
My blend ,for the last few days, was Our Carter Hall. I really like it , and those within reach of the aroma seem to enjoy it as well.
I hope everyone's Holiday ran as smoothly.
