I know you have been patiently waiting for this important information. Sorry it's late, but here it is at last ...
I live almost right on top of the deepest part of the Ogallala Aquifer. So doesn't it make sense that I would wonder how long I could survive on that if I were the ONLY homo sapiens using it? Of course it does. And the answer is, using 100 gallons a day, I (and the dogs of course) could get along for 26,382,602,739 years. So I guess I can relax.
That is all...
(Please don't thank me. I do this as a public service.)

The Guarani Aquifer in South America is a huge underground reservoir that lies under Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil, where the Bush family bought a 100,000 acre farm....they are in your league.

I saw a gerbil eat a roach once... That gerbil will now survive a nuclear holocaust. Robogerbil.

I don't know what aquafer we're on, but I can see it from my front window. We're on the Memphis Sand Aquifer, which is also a doozy.

I see that you share your aquafer with the Texas Panhandle. Not enough people now to make much difference.

It turns out that we're on the Carrizo-Wilcox aquifer, Queen City section. The government doesn't have any records for this area. As far as the government is concerned, we might as well be in New Mexico.

You use 100 gallons a day!? I've never thought about how much I use, but I didn't think it would be that much. Maybe it is.

You use 100 gallons a day!? I've never thought about how much I use, but I didn't think it would be that much. Maybe it is. That was just a guess, and rounded for ease of calculation. But... it might surprise you just how much water you DO use in a day. Of course, in NI they don't wash much...

I live alone and use 3000 gallons a month consistently. So 100 gallons a day per person is probably a good benchmark....
