I know you have been patiently waiting for this important information. Sorry it's late, but here it is at last ...
I live almost right on top of the deepest part of the Ogallala Aquifer. So doesn't it make sense that I would wonder how long I could survive on that if I were the ONLY homo sapiens using it? Of course it does. And the answer is, using 100 gallons a day, I (and the dogs of course) could get along for 26,382,602,739 years. So I guess I can relax.
That is all...
(Please don't thank me. I do this as a public service.)
I and my bucket will be there directly. Here, I am at 540 feet of well depth. The last 95 feet was submerged in the San Luis Aquifer. Then lightning stuck my power pole and grounded in the well destroying the pump. Have not been able to replace it. So, I live like Paul Atreides and drink my own sweat and urine. Just kidding. I am supplied by the village water system, as shallow as that well is. Mostly I drink Reverse Osmosis water purchased at a store in town. Some day I hope to restore my well pump but that is very expensive.

When I put it in it cost $6k. When I moved I offered it to the chuckleheads I leased from for half price. They didn’t tumble so I had it sealed.
