Sutliff Christmas Spice in a WDC Wellington Jumbo. Lemonade on the side. I think I've got a pipe that looks something like that. Inherited it from my father-in-law. I need to clean it up and see how it smokes.

Some Magnum Opus in small sandblasted Everyman's pot checking on a beaver dam I needed to clean out. I looked and our storm's blew the beaver dam clean out also the one that is just below our place flooding out the lowest fence about 80 feet across was blown clean down to the rocks looks like a real creek again. Also had a bowl of Pete's Black & Brown that he sent me in a Walt MM CG while dropping a few bags of ash off for a friends chickens

I think I've got a pipe that looks something like that. Inherited it from my father-in-law. I need to clean it up and see how it smokes. I got this one as NOS. It's pretty much a Peterson System Standard in Pub Pipe size. It smokes like a Peterson. Not bad for $7.99 +shipping. I just pulled mine out. It says it's a Chesterfield, with the letters "C. P. F." It has a P-Lip. The stem is marked "Solid Rubber". Think I'll see what I can look up about it. ..... looked it up on Pipedia. CPF stands for Colossus Pipe Factory. "the CPF brand was discontinued sometime in the 1910-1920 range." Figured a "solid rubber" stem was old.

The patent expired in 1898 or something like that. Cool old pipe!

Chesterfield's were quite famous old Peterson system clones. The solid rubber is referring to vulcanite. While I don't own any Chesterfield's I do have a couple Brit friends who own their grandfather's Chesterfield system pipes and know a few folks that have them.

H&H Capitol Stairs from 2013 in a MM Charles Towne Cobbler. There's a bit of deer tongue in that one, if I remember right. I haven't smoked it in years ,but it's a good one for the holidays. I bet it really sings in a cob!

So, if the CPF brand was discontinued 1910 - 1920, this pipe is likely 100 years old?

I'd assume so, Gandalf. The two other Chesterfield system pipes I'm aware of are WWI pipes.
