Haha, Ron. It's an aromatic VaBur flake. Flavored with treacle and a couple other flavorings, but it's been a good seven years since I've smoked any.
Worth noting that aromatics work on a scale. To me personally, if I don't taste raw tobacco and I can taste cocoa, molasses/treacle, vanilla, and various sweeteners this is what makes it aromatic. One can argue that Carter Hall is a mild OTC VaBur aromatic. Some folks can't taste all the sweetener, PG, and cocoa and molasses but it's still an aromatic. Some folks even claim that Carter Hall as an example has absolutely no casing or flavorings, which is absurd.
A purist take is that 99% of pipe tobacco today is aromatic.
I've had it and I was unable to detect any flavor. Just hot steam.

+1! I think of flavorings as a spectrum, and most tobaccos have some. "I don't smoke aros!" OK. I really don't like wimpy-goopy stuff, but I'll happily smoke Gawith stuff all day. There is some artificial demarcation for some, but I think it’s silly. Maybe D&R tobaccos are at one end and Captain Black at the other, but everything falls on the spectrum somewhere. I'm probably in the minority for thinking this way, but that's not unusual for me!

In general, purists are rather frustrated, unhappy people, dissatisfied with their neighbors, to whom they are an annoyance.

I wouldn't say "unhappy" but more or less "never satisfied." Quite a bit of generalization but somewhat accurate.

Molto Dolce, Sutliff Vanilla Custard, Solani Sweet Mystery X, Tewksbury Hobbits Weed come to mind. I’m surprised Monty hasn’t chimed in yet. He’s my go to guy for all things aro. I haven't chimed in because he wanted a high nic aromatic and I don't know of one. But: here are some of my favorites: Peach - Peachtree Street - Scotty's Bulk Blends Chocolate - Chocolate Mousse - Sutliff, or Dark Chocolate - Cornell & Diehl (But chocolates are fickle. One time they'll be flavorful. The next time, not.) In the Vanilla, Honey and Caramel arena - Molto Dolce - Sutliff Private Stock, or Trout Stream - Hearth & Home, or Crème Brulee - Sutliff Rum - Spiced Rum - Sutliff Black Raspberry - Black Raspberry - Wilke Cherry - so many! - Tewksbury Hobbits Weed Match - 4 Noggins, or Cherry Cavendish - Wilke, and lately I've been enjoying Russ' Nation's Capital Pumpkin - Pumpkin Spice - Sutliff, or Sleepy Hollow - Straus Tobacco (both are "pumpkin" but different) And then there's Wilkes Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter & Chocolate, and Surbrug 71st Street. Surbrug 71st Street doesn't list hazelnut as a flavoring, but I taste it and a couple of reviewers on TobaccoReviews.com taste it too.

Another great medium-full strength burley blend with only natural flavoring I highly recommend is Cornell & Diehl Crooner. It's cubed burley with flecks of deertongue leaf in it which tastes like a natural and savory vanilla flavor. The raw deertongue leaf naturally has this vanillin flavor in it, there's nothing added to it.
C&D aromatic blends in general I would suggest for their use of more full flavored and strength leaf. I'd recommend whole-heartedly Sam Gawith and Gawith Hoggarth as well but just haven't mentioned them because they are not available and you must order them the second they come in stock. With Cornell & Diehl you get an American mixture profile of tobaccos that are almost always in stock.

He has a ton of blends, many over a hundred years old. He's a great guy and easy to talk to.

Just received 8oz of Old Black Magic. It smells incredible. Can’t wait to have a bowl tomorrow. It appears that it may need 10 minutes of drying, but it is not goopy wet. I have Mac Baren Navy Flake, which I enjoy. I have a small tin of Mixture Scottish, but can’t stand it. To me upon opening, it reeks of Lemon. Smoking tastes like lemon. Maybe it is just me. Kind of wary of Mac Baren aros.

(OTOH, McConnell's Scottish Flake isn't a Scottish at all, as I recently learned, so there may not be much in the name.)

I tried the Old Black Magic today. It has a vinegar like taste. I guess I will jar it and see what happens. Tried it in a cob and also a briar.
