I was listening to a podcast today and learned about Mike Nesmith passing. i knew of him from his Monkee's days, but his contributions and influence make that part a blip on the radar scene. He brought about Country rock before the Eagles and Poco ever came on the scene. he had music videos before MTV, a real forward thinking guy and a pioneer in the music industry.
