Moxie still exists. I wish they'd start an ad campaign and get hipsters to create a nationwide demand. It can be ordered online, but I don’t have that kind of $$$.

If hipsters get into it, you probably still won't be able to get it.

I’ve seen singles of moxie at Cracker Barrel for like a couple bucks for a bottle. I like it but damn it gets pricey since I can’t just mossie on over to the grocery store and pick up some 12 packs.

It's kind of polarizing. I love it. The Grousemoor of soda.

What tobacco would complement absinthe? Not a regular consumer but do participate in a tradition of toasting the new year with same. I only use absinthe in Sazerac cocktails. I have seen people smoking cigars while drinking it, but I wouldn't. would take a brave soul to smoke a serious aromatic with the green fairy

You can catch Cheerwine on Amazon for less than a dollar a can, but the cans have corn syrup instead of cane sugar like the bottles. The bottles run $1.50 when you find them. World Market and Cracker Barrel have large selections.

Maybe I should break open a bottle of rum and see if I can taste my tobacco more.

Maybe I should break open a bottle of rum and see if I can taste my tobacco more. Aye! It can't hurt. Right?

World Market and Cracker Barrel have large selections. I've had Cheerwine from my local Kroger and I'll check next time I'm there. They used to sell both packages, but I wouldn't drink enough of it for the HFCS to bother me.

Their advertising is a bit dated.

It's bad enough I had to leave lobsters and steamers behind.
