I told the wife, when I die, put me in a 55 gallon drum filled with Father Dempsey’s and set me ablaze.

I'm not sure I'd fit in a 55 gallon drum.

My remains will be interred in a vintage Dunhill My Mixture apothecary jar that I have displayed.

If I'm embalmed and buried, I request my Charles Towne Cobbler be packed and sent along with me, along with a filled fountain pen. If cremated, sprinkle some of my favorite tobacco on top of my cremains before I'm inurned. I would specify the tobacco, but I'm pretty sure whomever is making that decision won't be particular; they should have plenty to choose from!

I've always fancied a Viking funeral off the shore of Lake Michigan, but I have a sneaking suspicion the authorities in Chicago might not smile on the idea. If somebody wants to sprinkle some Scottish Blend on my grave or mix a bit with my ashes, depending, that would be fine. But don't bury any of my pipes with me, I'd rather they go to someone who would enjoy them.

I'm not sure I'd fit in a 55 gallon drum. I'd have a difficult time myself. Maybe if they ran me through a wood chipper first.

Anyone under 400 pounds can be made to fit in a 55 gallon drum. Don't ask me how I know.

Anyone under 400 pounds can be made to fit in a 55 gallon drum. Don't ask me how I know. What if the drum is already full of Father Demsey then I'd have to sit beside the drum and smoke a three Hunderd pound bowl. I think I'll just go with a pipe in one pocket, and some tobacco in the other...by now , Heaven is run by non-smokers anyway.
