ODF made start to realize it, along with Escudo. I just like the cooler smoke, and they tend to last a lot longer... I much prefer flakes, too. And I find fold-and-stuff works fine for me, so they're really no more trouble to process. I prefer the fold and stuff as well

Another round of OGS, in the same MM Diplomat. I really enjoyed the first bowl. I'm finding I really enjoy Virginias now, and I really like flakes better than ribbon cuts. Interesting times... If your tongue's not zapped by morning, I'll start out with OGS tomorrow morning if we all wanna plan on jumping on OGS as tomorrow morning's smoke. I'm heading to bed earlier this evening. Not sure if urbino got his package today with the ongoing ordeal, but he can smoke some of that aged OGS with us.
"In Transit to Next Facility Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered to its final destination. It is currently in transit to the next facility."
Well he was supposed to have it today, anyway... must be the federales because I've not seen this excuse. sounds like a plan. I won't be up much longer myself, work up waaay too early this morning.

We didn't get any winter weather worth speaking of last night, but it seems to have slowed things, anyway. I expect to be vacuuming all day tomorrow, regardless.

OGS in a GBD Midnight bent billiard. Of course, all the cool birds-eye is on the other side of the pipe.

Mixed some BCA with some Velvet for a mellow smoke with some tea in front of the fire. Wasn’t satisfied so I had more plum pudding and now back to the former. In a Stanwell freehand

New Minster Blackberry Brandy in a Three Star lovat from Pipes by Lee. This is my first taste of N.M.B.B. and my first puff seemed like this was just another Kool-Aid aromatic...one third into the bowl and the tobacco started to peek through. I think I like it; it's sweet but smooth and creamy, without the candy-shop edges that some aros can have, plus enough tobacco flavor to remind me I'm smoking and not chewing gum...yep, it's a keeper.

I had a sample of the Blackberry Brandy from SmokingPipes a while back and it was good. Aros aren't my first choice, but that one is done right.
I had an appointment canceled, so I stepped out with Orion's Arrow in a MM hardwood.

I have a relative on the road in southern NH this morning and the Globe made it sound pretty awful. Having lived there, I know the storm doesn't always live up to the hype.

About 3-4 inches right now, falling at about .5 inches an hour. It is supposed to continue until about 3 or 4 o'clock. A few plow trucks have come by, and the roads don't look too bad as long as you are smart and don't try to drive too fast.

2012 Peterson University Flake in a Jack Howell Rhodesian. Like that pipe! Thanks very much, I have been thinking of dedicating that pipe to University flake as it smokes it incredibly well. I am about halfway through a bowl of 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a Rad Davis Billiard.

Torben Dansk Black Velvet from a freshly opened tin, in a 1960's Citation 509 rusticated meer-lined bulldog. This blend always reminds me of this song.
