Coaxing coals to ignite in the old Weber chimney. Windy here. There is a Tomahawk roast to cook! This is thirsty work so an early Vodka Tonic.

A little Elisa Craig Small Batch, a little 1792 Small Batch.
Just purchased Woodford Reserve Double Oaked and Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea. Looking forward to trying these.

Hope you enjoy that Woodford. It's become one of my go-tos. Seeing you mention Woodford Reserve Double Oaked on here inspired me to try it. I tried Woodford Reserve at a local bar, and it was very smooth, with a very mild creamy caramel after taste - almost like butter scotch. So I bought a bottle, but it wasn't as smooth and didn't have that after taste - so today I bought the double oaked version. Some reviews of the double oaked version mention a similar after taste. We'll see.

Old Dominick.
Not currently in the glass, and not in the mail, but ready to be picked up in the next couple days:
Noah's Mill Highland Park Magnus Old Forester 1910 (that's 10 years earlier than my usual OF) Jefferson's Ocean Redwood Empire
All bourbon, except the Highland Park, and all new to me.

2 Gingers. Emptied this bottle, at last. It's a perfectly serviceable Irish whiskey for a reasonable price, just not quite my cuppa.

Having a bit of Four Roses Small Batch while hanging out solo in the chat room. Ed jetted a few minutes ago. Figured I'd hang for a bit in case any of the other late-nighters came 'round.

Opened a 375ml bottle of Tasted Caramel Port I made in 2020. Tasting good. Needed to verify quality before I gifted some to a friend.

Stolichnaya Cucumber infused vodka. I am not a fan of flavored vodkas but this one is good. Crisp tasting!

Yuengling Hershey's chocolate porter. An interesting one and it's pretty good but I guess I'd rather prefer a straightforward porter or stout without the chocolate. A good change of pace.
