I've got some tins of Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged coming. And a tin of Peterson Nightcap. And a sample of Russ' Tastykake. On one of the online tobacco stores I saw the brand “Russ”. Is that a large company or small? Never heard of it until a few days ago. |

Mmmmm Anni Kake was an instant winner with me. I didn't like Marble Kake very much. Tasty Kake has almost made its way in my cart a few times, but somehow it never made the cut.
Can't sleep for some reason tonight so I'm currently shopping at The Country Squire (first time)

I've got a bit over 5 ounces of Sam Gawith Kendal Plug arriving in the mail today from Haebar.
I've got 2 tins of Sam Gawith Commonwealth Mixture in the mail, somewhere.
I've got 3 tins of Sutliff Barrel Aged Series Crumble Kake #3 Navy blend aged 10 months in a bourbon barrel, ordered this morning.

I’m a fan of 50th Anniversary, Green Dragon, Shepherd's Pie, Cornishman, and Angry Cornishman. Angry Cornishman is Cornishman with extra Lat. For my taste, I prefer it in between the two and mix Cornishman and Angry Cornishman one to one to make what I called Annoyed Cornishman. |

SP order arrived, mostly bound for the cellar. Kept a couple tins aside, GLP Cairo and C&D Virginia Gentleman, for tasting today. Also, my Ezra Zion coffee/cigars of the month parcel arrived. Maybe a cigar later on, but more likely over the weekend.

I received Newminster 403 Superior slices and Blackberry brandy, Captain Black Royal and Lane's Dark Red, Gatlin Burley from gatlin burller, Sutliff's Black Cherry, P.S.#80 Norway ,even almost seven ounces of Kentucky Club Continental plus a package of pipe cleaners; and all at a price that makes me feel like the Robin Hood of pipe tobacco!

Got my package from SmokingPipes late this evening. Quality control on the Missouri Meerschaum Morganton Caroler LE 2021 Christmas cob (Patriot with a long green acrylic stem) was fairly shoddy. I will have to take a rotary tool to the inside of the bowl to smooth down a huge overhanging lip and the stem is crooked. The block of ebauchon with vulcanite stem I got for carving is entirely filled with holes and pits in the bowl and looks like a piece of trash. Fun times!

It's all fixable, but for a $30 special Christmas cob that didn't release until after Christmas, they certainly rushed these things through.
