You won't ever find a better deal than that. To anyone needing some of that C&D blending gold, or if Sutliff and the like are your thing, John's got what you need.

Last thing I got in the mail was my Christmas Peterson Churchwarden. But really, nothing other than that for a long time. And I don't expect there to be for a while. My cellar is big enough and I have enough pipes. Anything beyond that would be pure and simple TAD and PAD. Can I hold out? Only time will tell.

Thanks! I hope I get to find out sometime. Smokes have been few and far between, lately. Too wet and blustery out there today. Looks likely to be the same (plus cold) tomorrow.

Well that is nice! I'm soon to be the only one around here not in the Dunhill club! That's a great little shape. Let us know how it smokes and what are you going to smoke to break it in?

I figured I should have at least one while I can. Breaking it in with Old Gowrie. Draw is wonderful and it is light as a feather. will be a great clench once the Softy bits arrive

(Reposting from the wrong thread. Have a bump, 2022 thread!) Just arrived: a [quite frozen] brick of C&D Folklore. Now I'm on the end of the slow shipping. When I checked this morning, my package still hadn't been handed off to USPS from UPS SurePost. Usually my SmokingPipes shipments can get here in 2 days on a good day but I'm sure there are some weather delays.

Darktater just got me to thinking with his 2019 Dunhill.
The kids are always asking me what I want, and I am never any help. I should start asking for birth year Dunhills of their children.

Excellent! I haven’t seen a group 2 Canadian before. I love my group 3 and 4 Canadians.

Be careful, it’s a slippery slope…. I never set out to collect Dunhills and now I have eight. It’s hard to say what makes them so addictive. Probably comes done to excellent quality manufacturing and being great smokers.

I've never bought a Dunhill. I like interesting pipes. The one I have was a gift from a forum friend.

Congrats, 'tater! That's a lovely Canadian. Dunhills tend to be nice and light, anyway, so I imagine a Group 2 must be a feather. My smallest is a Group 3 apple. Could clench it all day. Dunhills always -- or nearly always -- have great lines and proportions. Not fancy ones. Not exotic ones. They just do the fundamental shapes, but they do them extremely well. That's a lot of their appeal, I think, johnlawitzke . And did I mention they're light?
