If you don't know who he is.,He has a cooking show on PBS stations..He cooks Louisiana style. I wouldn't eat much that he cooks because he puts Garlic in just about everything.i like watching him though.

Ha. I don't put garlic in everything, but if something calls for garlic, it calls for a lot of garlic! Mmm mmm good. It facilitates social distancing and I have yet to encounter a vampire. Garlic is one of the things you never follow a recipe for amounts of. It's based on what your soul tells you is enough, and there usually isn't any such thing as too much.

If you enjoy garlic, you might also enjoy Mel Blanc's Documentary movie "Garlic is as Good as Ten Mothers". The title is taken from an old Chinese proverb. The movie is abut the use of garlic around the world. Quite interesting. Made around 1978 or 1979.

, I like to watch Kevin cook too. Like the rest of the posters, I'm heavy handed when it comes to garlic. We're growing our own, for the first time, this year. Those little jars just don't last around here.

Sounds like my kind of guy...I put garlic in everything too. Me too. If it says 2 cloves, I see 2 tablespoons. We buy minced garlic by the quart. I bought processed garlic in the past, but I have yet to find one that has the "punch" that fresh garlic delivers. Better option than none though if fresh garlic is scarce. Bell pepper, onions, and garlic are the heavenly trio in a skillet!

When I lived near Gilroy, a friend of mine was tasked with providing a bid for a metal building for Christopher Ranch garlic. The people at that company learned that fresh garlic stored in an airtight building charged with gas retarded the natural growth of mold that naturally takes place after garlic is harvested.
They built the buildings, and warehoused a lot of garlic, but when the crops were between the harvest of California and Mexico, the buildings were aired out and the product released when prices had spiked, realizing a tidy price for Christopher ranch!
Others caught on and that genie was out of the bottle, but we all win as the competition levels that playing field.

Yeah, my wife bought prepared Chinese garlic from a store....dollar tree or such. It sucked and had a chemical taste, went to the garbage can.

It's like the people we put in charge of these things can't be trusted.
