Nice, it is all about the venue for me these days. This will be the first time for us. The only complaint I've heard is that the chairs are too close and really uncomfortable. We'll see. All the other concerts they've had since we've been here were not for us or too expensive. These tickets were $25. So if we leave early, no big deal. |

I stumbled across this great video last night. I remember going to see The Allman Brothers Band at the Lakewood Amphitheater back about 1991. they were one of the first jamb bands that I saw. Great music.

One of my favorite songs when I was a boy. Thanks, Ron! Listening to it tonight in honor of the skunks mating under the house. The 30 year old exterminator had never heard it so I played it for him. He has to come back next week with traps and such. |

Loudon Wainwright seems like quite a character. Aside from his numerous colorful songs, it seems like people love him but no one can really stand to be around him. Good relationships with his ex-wife and kids, as far as I can tell, but they don't want him around too much. I guess a little of him can go a long way.
Or I could have all that wrong.

I think you right. I believe that's the case with most musicians and actors, artists in general. The nice ones are the exception. |
