In trying to figure out why these Zyn pouches seem stronger than listed, this info came up: "Less nicotine was extracted from ZYN 3 mg (1.5 mg) and more from ZYN 6 mg (3.5 mg) than from 8 mg General (2.4 mg). The extracted fractions of nicotine for both ZYN products (56% and 59%) were significantly larger than for 8 mg General (32%).Oct 8, 2020" So ... listed vs. real isn't the same and, apparently, can be pretty far off. I've wondered the same about the "on!" pouches. They give me free 8mg packs whenever I buy a can of Copenhagen. The same store gives ghem to my dad when he buys cigarettes, which is a lot. They seem A LOT stronger than anything else I've ever used and sometimes give me a nicotine headache. Still... Im just a nicotine junky.... someone say mainline?! *starts shaking* Dragon Madras most of today. Kids are back with the other parent, so pipes can come back out to play.

Anyway, Toque USA Kentucky Bourbon. Not a favorite, but it's here and it ain't gonna snuff itself.

First taste of Otto Schmalzler. Anyone know anything about Otto? I restocked some Bernard's and I got M&W Black Rapee to try. And Firedance for the Turtlespouse.
I like the Otto. Mmm, Hershey Syrup drip.

I remember you were cramming it up your noseholes liberally, so I figured I should try it! Have you tried the others?

I have yet to begin the beguine with Begum, but it's sure to beguile.

I've tried the whole Otto Line. It's produced by Toque. I love Chancellor and Schmalzler. The rest are great scents if you like menthol. I really have to be in the mood for mentholated snuff, and that mood doesn't strike often.

If I lived in a cold climate dealing with the issues that come with that, I might like mentholated. In the southwest… no.

Thor's Hammer tonight. No menthol here!
Menthol seems really out of place in the desert. I only tried it a few times when I was there. It seems out of place in the clutches of Hell (S. GA) too.

Wilsons of Sharrow Tom Buck. This is the first time I've had any nasal snuff in at least a good 6 years. My problem is that no matter how lightly I snuff, using the "pop the mouth open" suction method or whatever, I end up with a really runny nose, or sneezing my arse off, or my entire head gets all stuffed up most the time. We'll see how she goes this time. A couple bumps and so far just a runny nose and 3-4 sneezes.

I watched some reviews and read some, on these Rosinski snuffs and now I've got an itch to order these in their 10 gram refill bags. These are actually dated "green" snuffs that highly rated to be really fresh and traditional. I'm going to attempt to work down this Tom Buck, I have had a couple German Schmalzer's (spelling?) back in the day from friends sent direct from Germany, and I've got some old totally dried out tins somewhere of Gawith's and a nearly full 10g tub or so of one made by Swisher. Of fresh, I've just got the Tom Buck and their Best S.P.
The problem is snuffing tends to always set off full blown allergy effect on me. I carried snuff with me back in 2014 for many months but after a few bumps, people thought I was "really sick" head all stuffed up, sounding like I have a seriously, very bad head cold. I've just had a few decent pinches and it's generally already happening again. Sneezed 40-50 times and blew my nose a ton already. Heading back outside and going to try a few more bumps and deep breaths to see if I can even hang with it. It basically amounts to as if I went out and found some ragweed in full flower and started snuffing that shite up my nose. lmao!

That happens to me everytime I use McChrystals. I really like some of their scents and figured it might be the way I take it, but I tried putting some on a qtip and just rubbing it inside of my nose. A few minutes later, 100% stopped up. It doesn't matter what the scent is, it makes me feel like I snorted concrete.
Some flavors and brands still do it, but not nearly as bad. I've tried to figure out the cause, but I can't. It's not the grind or the moisture, I can take huge amounts of Cheeta (very fine and dry) and not have an issue. It's the same with things like NTSU Black (very coarse and moist). The only way I'd be able to figure it out is to get a full ingredient list and see what's in some and not in others. It could be as simple as 1 type of tobacco that my body just doesn't agree with.
After a few years of trial and error I've found my favorite ones and stick to them about 90% of the time.
I'm pretty sure Tom Buck causes a bit of congestion in me too. I'll check after I smoke a cigar and walk the pup. I'm pretty sure I have an open tin in my desk.
One thing that helped me enjoy snuff more was drinking A LOT of water. It keeps everything moving.

You may be onto something. The Kendal Brown and another Gawith dry toast like snuff I used to use smells very much the same as this Tom Buck in my nose and has that Lakeland style floral note to it, and maybe that is part of the allergy problem. I'll have to try others and keep at this one. I was fine again 20 or so minutes later after I was back outside working.

I could get the original blue and green Dr Rumney's in the 80s and loved it in a New England winter. If you know, you know!

The AM (Apricot) was my favorite of the rest of them, RM (Raspberry) was just a notch below it. The menthol really brightens the scent of fruit flavored snuff. But it's just not my thing.
I've been wanting to try the Rosinski's since I started, but they never make it into my cart. After looking through my snuff tub tonight, I can't justify an order anytime soon. One day....

We were turning a 1 story house into a 2 story. There's nothing quite like knowing your going to work and the high for the day is -11. I'll never make that mistake again. I'm originally from Michigan, so it wasn't a huge shock, but it was still terrible. I could see myself using menthol snuff in weather like that, but that was before Darin ruined my life with snuff samples when I was interested. (Kidding, thanks man!)

Tom Buck. Everything was OK until I got in the shower. Now I'm stuffy. The left side isn't as bad as the right. I'll loosen it back up with Santo Domingo, fresh from the mylar bag. My daily carry container needed a refill.

I cannot recommend the Navage unit enough for the snuffer. It really cleans the valves out. I just wish I had invented it.

I use the squeezable bottle every few days. Between the pollen down here, the dust at work, and the delicious brown boogers, it's a MUST!
More Santo Domingo while handwriting my lawyer a letter. He doesn't return my calls or emails, so if I hand him this, he can't say "I didn't get the message."

Tom Buck. Everything was OK until I got in the shower. Now I'm stuffy. The left side isn't as bad as the right. I'll loosen it back up with Santo Domingo, fresh from the mylar bag. My daily carry container needed a refill. I had several more pinches of Tom Buck and it doesn't matter what I do, snuffing these Wilsons of Sharrow, they are dry as bone powder and I'm so stuffed up my nose feels literally broken. So I opened up a 20 gram tin of WoS Best S.P. thinking hey, maybe it's sealed better and won't be dry. This is somehow even more dry and it actually really pissed me off snuffing it. I don't even understand how this works for anyone, at all. Eyes are pouring, can't smell anything at all and my head is all stuffed up. I can't imagine how this works well for anyone, I really can't. Wish I had something else to try tomorrow that didn't amount to snorting up dust out of the garden. I've gotten old discontinued Gawith Hoggarth snuffs to work fairly decently but it was always like a "this works about half of the time" deal and never got any nicotine from it. At that point, I wrote them off. Out of some sadomasochistic good ol' college try, I'll continue trying the ones that I've got, and I've looked at a ton from Rosinski and Fribourg and Treyer.
Last of the complaining, I promise. This is where I'm at. My throat itches, my ears itch, my eyes are watering, I can't smell anything. I can't smell the snuff at all. I can't feel any nicotine, absolutely zero. I think I'll stick to smoking and dipping because this clearly doesn't even work for me. It's as if I'm highly allergic to sniffing powdered tobacco up my nose in general. Hell, I may even just dip the rest of all this I have in my mouth like my great grandma did. The Americans may have had it right.

I come home covered in old burned timber dust shower and scrub with Lava soap. Soak clothes in hot water and Bizz in 5 gallon bucket to get as much black out as I can. Look more like a coal miner than a logger. Where yours are brown mine are black but I am sure there are those that have it worse than either one of us Edit you still have it worse than me no lawyer for me
