I'd forgotten all about the site snow. Maybe sparks has just been too busy to think of turning it on. I looked outside an hour ago to see wet and rain. Now there's probably .25-.50" of snow on the ground, and it's still coming down.  Said snow has now melted and refrozen as a festive sheet of ice. |

The snow is just arriving here. it was 35 an hour ago and is now 25 with the wind howling pretty good.

Leaving Washington D.C. at night in winter. Driving over Chain Bridge in Georgetown, heading to Virginia and home. Black Ice on bridge. My 1972 Jeep Commando slides across lanes and over the first guard rail. It is hung up on the second one. When the jeep dips in its rocking motion, I can see the Potomac RIver in the headlights flowing along. Black Ice is nothing to sneer or sneeze at. |

This is pretty cold for December. But only for a day or two. Back up in the 40s middle of next week. This is more like late January-early February weather. Regardless of the calender - Brrrrrr!

He was head shaking over the server in years past. |
