Initially, when I needed a rapid test, it was a scramble. No appointments for a drive thru until 3 days out. I called Walgreens and got the robot voice, kept saying “pharmacist” finally made it to the pharmacist, transferred me to the front register and was told “ we got the self test in, but they are going fast”.
I got really lucky, the window was closing for me to make the call to cancel work.
Scheduled to get the PCR test later today and on to monoclonal antibodies.

I placed our order today--much quicker and easier than I had expected, and much simpler than scheduling the two pharmacy tests I had to get for work last month. The email I got said they will start shipping in late January and that I'll get tracking information then.

I don't see the point of all the tests. If I'm sick I stay home or go to the doctor. I've had all the shots so I'll either get better or die. A test won't change the outcome.

A bit different for me, I go into people's homes with serious underlying health conditions...not uncommonly where it appears that kidney disease is the least of their problems.  I get the point of view from a retiree though...depends on your circumstances. |

I'v e had all the shots as well. But I take the test if I've been sick and I want to make sure I don't expose someone in my family or friends to it.

I follow the same plan anytime I get sick: Seclude myself to one area of the house, drink plenty of water, take more vitamins than normal, and rest. If I didn't work inside other people's homes or have children I wouldn't have bothered to test. "Get better or die" is how I look at a lot of things. |

We have had these available for quite a while now. They changed recently from the throat and nasal swap to just the nasal swap. I hate the throat ones.
