Yo jo'n LM
Seattle Pipe Club blends, under the expert hand of Joe Langford, are excellent. In the Balkan/English category, Plum Pudding is high on my Top300 Cellar. A lot of folks love the Mississippi River, which is a bit lighter. Seattle Evening, also a Lat, was the first of the SPCs to find a place in my Cellar. Deception Pass is also in my Cellar and is a unique take on VAPers. Potlatch is likewise an interesting take on an English. Pike Place got disappeared while I was evaluating if I would Cellar it, but I did scavenge a few tins to remember it by.
I'm still trying to decide on the bunch of FDA inspired new entrants.

I've got a few of their tins sittin in the interweb virtual shoppin cart. Tryin hard to keep this TAD in check. Who am I kiddin, I've got half a dozen other tins in transit. The only cure I've found for this TAD thing is to go on ebay and look at pipes. A couple of "buy now" clickityclicks and I'm right as rain.

Got a little bump for my TAD, 6 tins of Dunhill goodness just arrived at the office, so all is right as rain. Trigger finger's still twitchen though, wants to place that SPC order and scratch that itch.

This is what I ordered three of them are newly released, the other two was because of the many comments about them.

This is only the beginning... better get yerself a special 5 drawer cabinet and some BIG air-sealed Tupperware containers for vintage tins and jars. Then plan on building an extra room onto the house cause yer gonna need the extra storage and man cave space. If you think I'm kidding, I'm not! ENJOY!

I bought into the SPC hype and bought tins of Plum Pudding and received 4 tins of the Plum Pudding Special Reserve a few weeks ago from P&C.
The regular Plum Pudding is pretty good. The flakes are easy to break up and while you don't want to crumble them to dust, smaller pieces imo smoke nicer.
The Plum Pudding Special Reserve comes in this big plug that's not very easy to cut. It also crumbles nicely. To be honest, I don't see what the big deal is with the Special Reserve. I don't find it so much better than regular PP, and in fact, I'm not even sure if I could tell the difference.
Regular PP is good, ranks up there with Black House, Northwoods, etc.
PP Special Reserve leaves me with a decidedly "meh" reaction compared to the expectation. It's still a quality tobacco like the normal PP.
