Hello, hope y'all are doing well. I'm a new member from south Louisiana and I have been a pipe smoker for a little over four years now. I took it up initially with a friend of mine for novelty's sake, but I expected to enjoy it as I used to be primarily a cigar smoker, and proceeded to burn the mess out of my tongue with aromatics. Months later, I came back to it, this time with English blends, with which I fared better, and took to it like a duck to water. Since then, my hobbit transformation has been ongoing. Alas, I am too tall to truly fit in with them. As far as pipes go, I enjoy heavy English blends, with my favorite being Nightcap, though I also love a good VA-Per and have been dipping into aromatics as of late. My favorite pipe happens to be whatever I am smoking at the moment, though I particularly enjoy nosewarmers, pokers, and apples. Pipe smoking hardly takes up all of my time (unfortunately) as I am a full time law student. When I'm not doing that I am lifting weights, reading, or writing. In the background of all of these activities a constant barrage of metal, classical, or jazz, but mostly metal, may be heard. I am looking forward to getting involved in the community here.
